Well its been reported that Bungie is indeed working on another Halo project with Peter Jackson.  My thoughts are its going to be a prequel focusing on the foreruners or whom ever built the rings.  Also Halo Wars high expectiations? Esemble Studios has done great work in the past.

Any speculations?

As for PJ and Bungie, they first announced the project at X06 over a year ago. It's an episodic series of interactive cinema with parts that are semi-playable. It will probably by half the price of a normal game and might only be available through download. My guess is it has something to due with the covenant, most likely the Elites.

SPOILERS: completing the game on legendary and watching a video after the credits shows Mastercheif landing onto another planet in an escape pod.

So, I'd say a Halo 4 is very possible.

so that's been known for almost 18 month now.... and NO IT'S NOT AN HALO 4 and they won't have it... or not by bungie... so basically same thing.... stop dreaming and jacking of about it.... bungie said it's over... for them it's over no doubt about that...

It is possible master chief lands on a robotic planet after the ending when you beat legendary.

welcome, i don't think bungie is currently working on Halo 4 but I do think another one will come out.
