October is a long time away, prices on Persona 3 and 4 may go up by that time, but good luck with DQVIII, I have yet to hear anything good about it.

^_^

You need to get this game:

spoiler: You play as riku =O

Nice. If you liked the beginning I think you'll like the whole game in general. The battle system might seem simple and rushed but it gets really fun by the end.

I got over 20 hours into this game before giving up due to frustration of losing to a boss. The game was good while it lasted but I have no reason to pick it up again.

I'm expecting them to go down if anything. At least P4 will. As long as I can buy them both for under $50 I'm good.

Also, I'm getting Re: CoM, leo-j :) Probably for Christmas though. I'm gonna get a bunch of other PS2 games too.

Well considering Persona 3 FES price is 20 dollars, trust me that WONT go down, as for Persona 4, It really depends but what usually happens with PS2 RPGs is that the prices go up within no time. I was trying to buy SMT: Nocturne last week, but didnt have any money, amazon had it at 29.99 along with DDS1 and DDS2, now the prices are back up to $50+ T___T

Very good game, not my favorite JRPG, but it was enjoyable.

That's great, the game is awesome.

If you didn't know already, the game is HARD. I had to replay the first boss battle 5 or 6 times before beating it. I've spent too many hours power-levelling in that game. >_>

Currently playing: Marvel vs. Capcom 3, League of Legends

Great game, one of my faves. It may seem sad, but according to my file I clocked in at least 300 hours of gametime (mostly b/c I let the game go on as I went out and sleep, but I still played at least 100 hours of real gaming).

The game is good for what it does. It has a simple, traditional battle system, but the enemies don't forgive. If you don't heal when you can and don't pay attention to what you are doing, you could end up having at least one or all your party members dead.

If you end up losing to a boss or a group of enemies, you either 1) made foolish mistakes when fighting monsters, 2) did not heal or rest when you should or 3) you did not level up enough before entering the battle. The charms of the game though are the little dialogues between the characters and such. The graphics, the little stories and the music all lend to its charm.
