I do not see Movie studios or Music studios going ou tof business(though to be fair i don't pay attention to that stuff). And it seems we lose a ne studio each week

By that logic, you should still be cool with people pirating games from the big studios since they aren't likely to go out of business.

No! I also feel that there is alot more work that goes into games then Movies or Songs. And  therefor they should be paid for their work. I will buy alot of movies, because  I feel there is alot of work that goes into them. But i pirate almost all of my music

I almost never used Pirate Bay, only when I couldn't find something I really wanted anywhere else. I couldn't care less, but it sucks for the people who still used it I guess.

I just use a combo of rlslog.net for torrents and Kad on Emule for P2P. I tried usenet but my ISP is not a fan.

Only time I ever used TPB/torrent sites is if I'm looking for something that's out of print or extremely hard to find in stores... for the most part I just go to YouTube and other streaming sites if there's something I want to watch or listen to since it's so much easier and convenient and you don't have to pray you get connected to people with good upload speeds.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

lol the funniest thing about this thread is the police coming in and telling us how wrong we are for pirating things!!!!!

There are a billion other torrent websites, it's too bad to hear that the pirate bay is no longer one of them :(

TPB is still operational guys. I have a feeling it may be a few days/weeks before it shuts down and is reworked.

Past Avatar picture!!!

Don't forget your helmet there, Master Chief!

SHIT!

Ah well, brothers... This is a small casualty in the war against the RIAA and MPAA and their greedy corporate establishments!

They may have won the battle, but we can win the war! The musical revolution cannot be stopped!

If you really know how I think artists could get paid by making their music for free, ASK ME.

Most artists make their money from touring. Average for a big artist to make now is about a dollar per CD (then keeping in mind that only a couple of CDs now will hit a million during the first year, and that bands have to split the money, it's almost depressing thinking of it). That or releasing their music independently through mediums like itunes or amazon (third eye blind) to bypass having to pay their record label or even their own website where they take donations for their cds (radiohead).

More sites will fall. Many have fallen and many more will. But for every pirate bay that goes down, another 2 piracy sites will appear. I don't really endorse piracy, but even I know that. x.o

Thats total bullshit and was a stunt from radiohead. They released some low quality shit to the people that paid (and those that didnt) only to release the official album at retail and download in quality sound.

Who cares..Demonoid ftw. Besided now they can fund Piratetube or whatever it's called.
