100k of those were at launch; therefore, not that good. Oddly, Europe is Nintendo territory this generation, much more that US is (Japan is even greater)

Good figure! Vgcharts undertracking ~35K?

Vgchartz says its 165k. But there is other thread which says that PS3 is undertracked in France, so its possible its over 200k.
Are this numbers apply to sold to customers? And is it saying anything about when 200k have been broken?

 vg severely undertracts the PS3 in Europe.

So launch week sales around 100k, six months after that around 100k, estimate for last 3 months of year 300k? Yeah, that sounds like a Sony prediction to me. =P

The last 3 months are also the BIG 3 months :

Xmas + games (multi or not) + starter pack ==> 300k is possible

Launch week in France was 78K.The sales for november-december and first week of january in Euorope nearly equals the other 10 months put toghether.And yes the PS3 seems somewhat undertracked in continental Euorope.

Link? Is this shipped or sold? Based on population, this is roughly equal to how the PS3 is selling Australia - which is better than I thought for France.

Still - according to VG figures, the Wii has been outselling the PS3 by 10:1 recently. The PS3 is just behind the 360 - with an aligned launch.
