Why have people wasted 80 posts in this thread?

Well, if you think about it, he's right in a way. Is Wii Sports known for its difficulty? What about the core games designed with easy controls? It does lend itself to being a bit easy, gameplay wise. There are a few that stick out there in difficulty, but does anyone really see the Wii library as being overly challenging?

Not to back the guy up, by any means. I don't care for Transformers at all, nevermind not being much of a movie buff and/or knowing who this person is. Just know he said amateur, not immature. The Wii does lend itself to anyone picking up games quickly, this isn't anything everyone didn't know already.

So yeah, his anti-Wii comment was ignorant - who cares? People talk like this all the time when it comes to fanboyish matters (erm, does that make sense?). He did say he liked Mario / Mario Kart / Civ IV (been playin all three a ton recently myself).

I suppose I prefer having another rabid HD fanboy gamer to a nongamer. Also, I have friends who'd say the same thing, so I see where he's coming from (probably doesn't know all there is to know about the Wii).

It's his opinion, why are all of you getting upset over it?
