I think this problem really holds the 360, otherwise a very solid system down.

Every Person you know?  Do you only know one person.  I don't know one person yet who has gotten the RROD.  But almost Every person i know has gone though atleast 1 xbox (not RROD)

I'm sorry to hear about your 360 :(

 

I'm getting an Arcade just as a back up. Good idea to sell your console every 2 years and buy a new one, to keep the warrenty running.

 

I don't believe people who claim to have had "6 RROD's"

 

Utter BS imp, I have had 2 360's over the course of 3 ish years and neither of them had any problems. I understand people get RROD ... but six?!!!! nah don't think so.

My xbox Red Ringed 4 times. It wasnt that bad because Micrsoft provided me another within the next few weeks. Even still it shouldnt have happened.

I have 4 Xbox 360's in my house. 1 is launch day (November 22, 2005). 1 is February 2006 (Company present). 1 is Summer 2007 (Elite) and one is January 2008 (Halo Xbox that my son bought for his room).

Only 1 has ever RRoD and it did once this past March and it was the launch unit. Although it was 4+ months past the warranty MS fixed it no charge.



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

Pyramid, good for you to finally figure out how cheap and stooupid M$ is. I say go buy a PSTriple, you know its got a 100% never fail rating after all.

I couldn't take it either, after my 6th Xbox 360 failed I just gave M$ the middle finger and got the supperior, B_E_L_I_E_V_A_B_L_E system. BTW, when you do decide to start looking toward the FUTURE, heres a list of games you should check out:

1. MGS4

2. FFversusXIII(FFXIII looks like crap)

3. Vampire Rain:Altered Species

4. Disgaea 3

5. GTA4, Devil May Cry 4 Tekken 6  God of War 3
