Forums - General Discussion - Should Micheal Vik be allowed to play NFL again?

Most employers will not let you have your job back if you commit a crime, go to jail and have a felony record.

What Vick did was despicable.. he deserves no special privileges.

The NFL has no integrity whatsoever. So, yes, he should be reinstated. How much more damage could he do?

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

If they let Pacman Jones they def should let him

I dont no the situation. But i say NO. Premuimgly this guy is famous so is therefore role models for people. This is giving out a message that you can commit a crime and ultimatly get away with it. I dont think anyone who has commited a crime should be allowed back into the fame and spotlight. Especially people who take drugs. It shows to yougsters that you can take the risk and even if you are caught you will still be in the game.

Use your talents or be forced to lose them. No true sporting fans want criminals to be representative of there club.

Joey Barton im looking at you!

I can't help it, I have to point out the obvious spelling error in the title. I hope you mean Michael Vick.

On topic yes he should be allowed back in. He did his time and he should be given another chance. Athletes have done worse things and been allowed to play later on I'm sure.

hahaha, I always F up Michael. Vick, now that was just stupiditury. ;)

True he is in a role-model position and he did a crime. However, he was punished more severly than a regular joe and he did pay for his crimes. He did not "get away with it".

Everyone deserves a chance at redemption once they show remorse and pay for their crime.

Google an english man called Joey Barton

I already said that :D
