Price much more then the slimming will help sale. Not that slimming will hurt. And yes it will start outselling the 360 everywhere including the US. MS won't respond with a cut till the gap goes down to 4-5 million. Basicly 2008 all over again. It won't outsell Wii but will be closer then ever.

@kowenicki it's a legit picture showing where the correct PS3's are made and this PS3 slim pic has been leaked at the same place so someone has worked very hard for an hour of fame or this is legit. It looks very early though so do not see it being announced at E3..looks terribly cheap though. :/

Increased revenue from increase PS3 software sales will more than make up for losses on PS3 hardware sales. The cost of production of PS3 towards end of 2009  should be close to $350 per PS3 unit and the cost per unit would be expected to drop lower over future revisions.
