Because if Microsoft announced/released a lot of games this year along with all the multiplatform titles coming out for the 360, the 360 would outsell the ps3 by like 50X.

I mean Microsoft wants to outsell the ps3 by 50X right?.....WRONG!

That would force Sony to cut price by $100 and then the ps3 would outsell the 360!!!

 A price cut will only cripple Sony at this point. No need for silly fanboy statements like this...or the OP's.

Ummmm NO!

MICROSOFT made 16 BILLION $$$$ NET PROFIT last year.

Sony LOST 2 billion - without a price drop on the ps3. 

Sony is the one likely to go out of business.
