@marciosmg

To get more white character tendency you'll have either help other players as Blue phantoms (you'll get a 5% increase towards white) or you'll have to kill other Black Phantom players that invade you (you'll get a major 30% boost towards white).

To check on your character tendecy you'll have to check the statue on the middle of the world tendencies menu's, the whiter the statue is, the closer you are to PW CT, it works pretty much like the shrines do.

Also, to get back PW WT you'll have to do similar things as well, but it doesn't matter if you finish the game you are in Pure Black World Tendencies, since all World Tendencies reset when you start New Game +

The same doesn't apply for character tendencies though, make sure you get both the Foe's ring and the Friend's ring on your current game.

@Kamal

Make sure you equip lots of poison resisting equipment, like the Ring of Poison Protection, and have at least some poison protecting gear, like the Gloom set (from Yurt's). Make sure you also have lots of Lotus flowers in your quick access.

Are you having trouble with any particular enemy?

I have the Yurt armor, unless you don't really need to rely on speed within the level.

Looks like I'll have to grind abit before I venture to completing anything.

You can't rely on speed for more than 3/4 of the entire level, and you can't even dodge while being in the swamp, so don't worry about using heavy armour that puts you above half the weight limit.

Also, beware of the Black Phantom NPC with the Meat Cleaver on the swamp, he isn't affected by the effects from the swamp and can easily run and dodge.

Istaraelle at 5-1 PWT gives a very nice poison resistance boost.

How far did you go on 5-2? There are even harder parters, especially if you get ambushed by the three Giant Goblings >_

Alright, so what priorities should I have with this PW tendency thing? Some cool stuff I should jump on while I have the opportunity. I haven't beat the game, and I'm only Soul Level 46, and I've only beat a smattering of levels. What's some good loot I should be trying to get during this chance?

I just got Istarelle (sp?) from world 5-1, some sort of axey speary thing. What else should I be hunting?

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

@The_vagabond7

There are tons of things you can do in PW tendency, here's a list of what you can do:

1-1
The door on the left near the starting point will be unlocked. (Pure White World Tendency) (Once unlocked, stay unlocked even if World Tendency changes later)
Pick up the set of Brushwood armor at the bottom of the pit. You need to be able to carry 50 or so in order to pick it up.
Brushwood Helmet, Wt 6.9
Brushwood Armor, Wt 17.3
Brushwood Manifer, Wt 10.4
Brushwood Leggings, Wt 10.4
Large Brushwood Shield, Wt 13.0
Total: Wt 58.0
In the same pit, on one of the beams is a colorless demon soul, don't miss it! To reach there, look for a broken beam near the top, walk carefully into the gap, if you direction is straight, you will land on the beam below. You can get down by carefully dropping to a lower beam; you should line the jump up from the central beam.
It is recommended that you pick up the items in White World Tendency if you want to avoid the fight with Miralda.
Body Form Miralda in Body Form, hiding on the right inside stairwell building. (Pure White World Tendency)
Drop Binded set & Master's Ring.
Note: If you killed her, your World Tendency will get a -3.
The Red and Blue dragon disappear. You can grab the goodies in the field in front of their usual nesting place.
This also mean that there will be no Red Dragon breathing fire at you while you try to cross over to access the lever.
2-2
Wanderer Scirvir, show him Dragon Bone Smasher from 2-3 for a Pure Greystone. (Pure White World Tendency)
To find him, take the right path from the 3 explosive carts. Jump down very carefully, eventually you will find Scirvir beside 2 Crystal Geckos. He can be done as Pure Black and Pure White in the same play through.
2-3
The debris to the left path will be cleared, you will get an unique extra large sword, Keel Smasher (Pure White World Tendency)
3-1
2F West NPC, Rydell can be rescued if you have the key (see 3-2 below). The reward is Dull Rat's Ring. Rescuing Rydell has zero effect on his BP form(remember that Latria's Archstone will be darker due to its position at the back of the screen, so suicide in body form one more time to ensure Pure Black when going for his BP form).
Nearby, previously blocked path by debris is accessible now (Pure White World Tendency) (Once unlocked, stays unlocked even if World Tendency change later).
Items found in the cells Prison of Hope, 2F W
Three-Corned Hat
Venerable Sage's Hood
Venerable Sage's Robe
Venerable Sage's Gloves
Venerable Sage's Boots
Prison of Hope, 2F East is accessible now (Pure White World Tendency)
Edit: Only accessible if you have opened Rydell's Cell.
The Prison of Hope, 2F East Cell Key is located in one of the open cell.
Items found in the cells Prison of Hope, 2F E
Paring Dagger (Parrying Dagger in the NA version),
Rogue's Clothes
Rogue's Gloves
Rogue's Boots
Chunk of Mercury Stone
Chunk of Mercury Stone
3-2
On top of the first tower where the first chain is released, there will be a bridge leading upwards to the Prison of Hope, 2F W. Cell Key. (Pure White World Tendency)
EDIT - Bridge ALSO appears during Pure Black world tendency (Confirmed: 12-10-2009) (Confirmed it does NOT appear: 12-12-09) (Confirmed it MIGHT appear: 12-22-2009)
* Remark: Once unlocked, this bridge will remain there forever even if World Tendency changes later.
4-1
Satsuki in human form appears at the entrance looking for Magic Sword "Makoto".
If you find the Magic Sword "Makoto" and give it to Satsuki, he will attack you. After you've killed him, he will drop the sword for you to pick up.
If you find the Magic Sword "Makoto" and decided not to give it to Satsuki, he will attack you.
4-2
In the room Patches kicked you down, the inaccessible corpse is now on the ground. You can pick up the Magic Sword "Makoto".
5-1
Between the rats, and the first giant goblin, there will be a ladder leading upwards on the face of the wall to the left. (Pure White World Tendency).
Once this ladder is unlocked, it stay unlocked forever in the current game even if World Tendency changes later.
Climb the ladder and watch out for a giant goblin half way through.
Eventually the path leads to three giant goblins guarding the Istarelle spear.
5-2
Selen Vinland will appear on a tiny island right after the first fog, talk to her to start a side quest. (Pure White World Tendency)
Give her the Crest of Vinland to get the Ring of Devout Prayer.
5-3
Black Phantom Garl Vinland. (Pure White World Tendency)
Only appears after you have killed Maiden Astraea and collected her Pureblood Demon's Soul.
Drops Brand and Crest of Vinland.
