Sure we hear about the 20 or so US personel that die needlessly every week or so, but we do not really hear about the 100's of Muslim Iraqis that die every other day at the hands of other Iraqis. It is not a religious war. It is a war like most wars, its about control and money.

The Muslim world was not always like this, during the West's 'Dark Age', the Muslim world was at its peak and very much comparible to US or Western nations today. However, that has changed slowly since about the late 1800's and especially since the World Wars when Western nations made every single dictatorship that exists in the Muslim World.

The thing about American is, a lot of the students are under-average, while the smart ones are mad genius (generally). Also, I don't think all of the inventions you listed were created in the U.S... take the airplane for example. Plus, you should already know the US holds a variety of people from foreign countries, too ...

To be honest though, I can't really tell if it's retarded parent, overprotective ones, or because many people can't think flexibly. Or maybe it's those people with ego that can't blame themselves and instead want it on someone else when their child goes bad.
