I hated the elevators I hope I never see one again.

True, but the PC handled these sequences much better than the 360 version. In fact, I have to give Bioware credit for making several great upgrades for the PC port.

Well, those elevator sequences are still long in PCs that have as slow hd as X360 dvd is. (Try those with usb1 driver and usb hard disk. ;) )

The only reason that needs to be true, is if the PC has very little ram (by today's standards) available to swap things in without inducing thrashing. Unfortunately, in my experience most games are written pretty badly in this regard.

Yeah I enjoyed the elevator chats too. I used to change my party configuration and hop on the elevator just to see what they'd talk about.
