So for the first time EVER, I ran into and caught a wild shiny.  It was a Graveler, a little lame but he's my favourite now.  Hours and hours and hours of playing and one shiny ever.  I hope he has solid IV's. D:

I caught two shiny Pokemon.

I've caught two (plus one) on the recent games as well. Thing is, they all sucked - a Kakuna, a male Nidoran and the obligatory second gen shiny Gyarados.

Catching shinies is made somewhat easier by Pokeradar, anyway.

The first shiny pokemon i catched was a pidgey

but i sold my gameboy + pokemon firered -_-

Back in the days of Pokemon Silver, I ran into a shiny Onix. Made me swear out loud in surprise (the good kind, though). Eventually, I had it evolved into a Steelix, which I referred to as my Big Long Golden Steelix (of course, you have to remember that I was about 16 at the time :P). Unfortunately, the battery on the silver cart died eventually, and I lost her...

Shiny Charizard!

I had what is quite possibly one of the rarest shinies of them all.
It was a honeycomb. I thought I could trade it online, and ended up getting a hacked pokemon.... shiny charmander......

since then I used the pokeradar, and it is very easy to get shinies now. I have like 10 shiny of those electric cat things, i forget the name its been about a year
