Forums - General - It was just a dream....

I was having a blast last night.  A version of Doom, Quake, and Duke Nukem 3D were all released for the VC on the same day.  I don't know which versions or what systems (could have been WiiWare) but I was in Czechoslovakia (I blame it on watching the movie Jumper last night) when I heard this awesome news of VC FPS madness.  One cool thing was that Czechoslovakia was on the "ocean or sea" which goes beyond reality also considering it is landlocked (unless they expanded their borders).  I first was chillen in the ocean and this huge wave came and just threw me a mile or two inwards then all of a sudden semi trucks (don't ask how they were in the ocean) and all sorts of things start flying towards me from the huge wave.  Anyways, I eventually found out in the dream about the Duke Nukem 3D, Doom, and Quake release (least I had my Wii with me in Czech).  I was playing Quake and blasting tons of enemies with a shotgun.  Then I got to a crazy boss.  I was blasting his sidekicks and him with a shotgun.  I eventually just had him left but his fighting style turned into a boxer instead of just hurling fireballs at me.  He was punching me left and right and I was almost dead (some reason my shotgun wasn't helping or working).  I think eventually got a punch in to TKO him.

Anyways, the funny part was when I woke up shortly after I was excited about all those games, and I was ready to go put some Wii points on my account and d/l them.  Then I realized it was only a dream....

I guess if I had Wii Homebrew Channel I could get these games on Wii and working with Wii Remote, but I don't think I will ever do that since I am too lazy.  Maybe if I had another Wii I would try it because I don't know if it would mess up my AC saves or what not.

If they released these classics with Wiimote control and possibly a little polished graphics for WiiWare they would rock!

I can never remember my dreams... :(
I hate you~!

You do know that Homebrew Channel can't do anything to your Wii unless you decide to play a JAP or PAL game on your american Wii (if you're american) and it updates your Wii? Also, you can remove it anytime you want. Sure, it won't be deleted entirely from your Wii's log, but it shouldn't do anything bad to it.

Random game thought :
Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...

Watch my insane gameplay videos on my YouTube page!

The secret to remembering dreams is to wake yourself up before they end. The only dreams I remember are dreams that aren't complete (ones when I wake up before they finish). I guess it doesn't work for everyone.  I am a light/picky sleeper and I tend to wake up a lot throughout the night for various reasons (pillows not feeling right, etc..) I think I need a Tempur-Pedic bed (my down comforter helps but I could use something better).

I remember my dreams all the time.

You can train yourself to remember your dreams.

Keep a dream diary for maybe a month or two. Every day, wake up, and write down as much as you remember. It might just be a color, or a shape, or a mood, or an idea. If it's a vague image, try to draw it. Do that every day, and you'll get used to thinking like that. Pretty soon you'll remember whole scenes, and later on you'll remember whole dreams.

Then, when other people talk about their dreams, it can trigger memories of older dreams you've forgotten, and you'll start remembering more and more dreams. When your "dream awareness" gets really good, you can eventually become able to tell when you're dreaming, and then control your dreams. It is the best thing in life.

Also, sleeping more than once in the same day can make you much more likely to remember your dreams. So if you wake up in the middle of the night for a piss or a snack, you're more likely to remember a dream the second time you wake up. I used to sleep 3 times a day, for 1-2 hours each nap, and I'd remember several dreams a day.

@OP, fucking awesome dream.

But if you were in Czechoslovakia, there could be no Wiis, as the country split in 1992

Anyways, weird dream
