Forums - Sony Discussion - What do you want in Killzone 3?

First thing I want to establish, the controls are FINE. I'm on my third day playing the game, barely playing it on Saturday, and I'm able to land a nice number of headshots (at least compared to the first day). I can't imagine how my aim will be after a few more days, weeks, and months playing the game. It's going to serve very good practice for me, and I can't wait to see how good I'll be in BF: BC2 and maybe MAG. Somethings I want:

1) Incorporation of Back story

The back story is just rich with Nazi history, and a slight reference to the crisis in the Middle East. The art style has a lot of Soviet Russian influences. I'll love it if I can have all that graduate from being a thing that looks cool and "macho" as some accuse it, to one of the deepest and intelligent stories. It's just too good to be left unused. Maybe we can play a few "Prequel" levels in the beginning of the Third game, spread it out, or have a quick KZ2 spin off using the same engine that follows the events of the past.

2) Better Story on the Individual/Personal Level

The story is awesome on the macro scale.
I loved how the ISA were absolutely dominating in the beginning, how they fell in the end, and how the sequel is justified (Vekta is now without a fleet, although IDK how they'll address the laser defense system)
. However the characters are too 2D. It can be good for a few characters, but not all. I'll love to see the half-Helghast/half-Human Hakha be the main character, and the inner conflict it brings (also bring Luger back!). As good Brian Cox was (I hope that
Visari prepared one last speech that was to be played if he died for the next game
) the rest of the crew needs to be improved, up to the most insignificant stock characters.

3) Good and more vehicles/Or non at all

I didn't like the tank sequence that much. The mech sequence was awesome as hell though. I hope they can incorporate vehicles in the multiplayer, with bigger maps and anti-vehicle weapons to complement it. However for single player, I hope they limit the vehicles scenes to a minimum, as the core of the game is shooting.

4) Bigger multiplayer maps

Self-Explanatory

5) More and new weapons

Something all FPS sequels should strive for. I loved the Bolt (?) gun though, which was the one where you can impale people to walls and explode.

6) Installing Mandatory

The slow downs in the game were not pleasant, and as I said before, it'll be nice if they can extend the length of the game with an installation.

An Enter Button  O good you edited....

I'm looking for a better Aiming System...

So more people can enjoy the game..

Also less "realistic control" excuses..

I do not want to feel the "weight of a gun" in a video game for realism...

but at the same time I have an on screen cross-hair... makes no sense...

This forum occasionally doesn't register the enters. I've seen in previous posts and posters, and you probably have too.

everybody should know wat i want, wat i want in any FPS COVER system with blind fire and dives or rolls from cover to cover like in the best TPS games also leave it in the online portions of the game like KZ2 was supposed to have

                                                                      Play Me

oh yeah also co-op and local MP would be nice as well

I want them to keep the aiming system the same. Requires skill to master and I like that in a game.

Other than that? Nothing really. The game is pretty much perfect. Oh yes, they'd need new maps for KZ3. :P

1. Rico's death
2. More weapons
3. Any innovative idea from GG

"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

- less Gray.
- longer campain
- Ability to hold a couple more weapons :S
- Better AI
- Final boss that isn't stupidly cheap.

omg kz2 is barely out the door!

More hype!
