That's all I can think of outside Party and Multiple Mario Games.



Boycotting the following:

1. Yoshi: He ate my car and spit out a toaster.

2. Igglybuff: Totally false advertisement. You can have as many as you like they don't buff nothing.

3. the Terms Hardcore/Softcore... We're talking Video Games. Not Porn.

4. The term Casual as relates to Gamers: We make them sound like outsider's that happen to play games.  If that were the case they'd own a PS3.

5. Donuts.... Beacause I drink Beer...... and the biggest fan of Donuts hates Beer.

6. Boycotts: Their so lame.

Wii won't have as many blockbusters next year as it did this year, but that's okay. Third party support will definitely increase, and the blockbusters aren't going to disappear after a limited time. They'll be on the shelves helping the system sell until more blockbusters come in 2009.

 (Not to mention that games like Wii Fit and Wii Music have a ton of blockbuster potential if Wii Sports is any indication).

Alright gonna update my list for what would be really sexy for 2008. This list includes what 3rd Party's can offer.
SSX for the Wiiboard, Mario Kart, Disaster DoC, Icarus, FZero, Castlevania, Pilotwings, Starfox, and StarWars Lightsaber Battles.

I reckon they expect 3rd party stuff would have picked up by 08.

 

Plus, with the games in the title as well as the other ones already out, that is enough alone to carry Wii through 08 IMO. I mean, they've basically had WiiPlay, WiiSports and Zelda for an entire year (although there have been some other good sellers).

Well the question we should ask ourself does nintendo need the blockbusters next year? Nintendo should be able to live on the big three plus Fire Emblem and BWii untill middle of 2008 in sales. Then we can see Mario Kart, Mario Party 9 and Disaster. Then after that I am expecting a Pikmin to christmas and some new franchises. Then mayby a Kirby game before the end of 2008 and we would be ready.

I think the fear is a little bit unnecessary, we will see the standard Mario Sports titles and then we have the makers of Geist that mayby are doing a good FPS this time (the multiplayer should have been cool last time).

I also forgott about Wii Motorsport...
