I liked Metroid Prime on the Wii, and Prime1 on the GameCube was awesome!

When they make the Wiimakes of them I'll be definitely getting them.

I've only played Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and Metroid Zero Mission. I loved them both a lot. Haven't completed Zero Mission though.

I can't understand people who don't like the Metroid Prime series. One simple thing made it better than any 2D Metroid: The scan visor.

Seriously, I love that thing. Scanning my surroundings for clues and background info, not to mention analyzing enemies for weaknesses, is just too freakin' kickass to ignore.

The other visors are way cooler than the clumsy X-ray visor in Super Metroid, too. You get a slick graphical presentation of how the environment looks in a different spectrum and you don't have to stand still and clumsily move your scanner about.

I will admit though, the 2D games definitely have better platforming.

With Zelda this is my best series. I remembered purchase the first one on the NES at age of 13. There was a publicity at TV that was so awesome... Super Metroid was great but I think, for my personnal taste, that Metroid Prime is the peak of the series.

At that time, I remembered the petition over the net cause poeples were mad about the 3d metroid... the first metroid after super metroid. Finely, everybody were happy with the 3d version.

Yes, Metroid is awesome. Almost as awesome as Zelda.
