Funny thing its the same source as for Dead rising 2 and they are saying that it will release this year and exclusive dlc for 360.

Wow. I had not heard that LP was having a film made. With a budget that big there has to be a big director attatched. Who is it? Also, LP 2 is good to hear. The first one was decent.

This sounds like there has been an error in translation since it says the exact same thing that said about Dead Rising 2 ... Question is, which one is wrong - Lost Planet 2 or Dead Rising 2?

Capcom have 3 'HD' developement projects at the moment we don't officially know about - albeit the SFIV and RE5 teams must be nearing completion on their current projects.

But yeah, Lost Planet 2 and Dead Rising 2 are bound to be two of those me thinks. I doubt either will see a 2009 release seeing as Capcom have already got 4 HD games for this year, bound to be announced soonish.

Seems some translation problems with the Famitsu stuff but I've no doubt we'll see both games announced before the new year.

Actually, I found a pic of the magazine, and reading it does indeed mention both Dead Rising 2 and Lost Planet 2. Cool!

This was obvious. They'll probably aim to have this game come out at the same time as the movie to help promote it. We'll have to see how it goes.

Well, they will need it to recover some of the lost money from the movie.

cool i played the 1st at my friends house I might play it in a couple years when the price is $20 but the first one for the PC not the consoles had SecuROM so i probally won't get it anyway if this one has it
