Forums - Nintendo Discussion - So have had a Wii since Christmas

going for a 30 minute run/jog each morning would have lost you some weight. And it doesn't cost 250 for a system and 100 for the game. Its maybe 100 for a good pair of running shoes.

Well, when you get bored of all the other games you got, you have to at least give Mario Kart Wii a try. Easily one of the best games on the Wii.

I've lost weight with the help of Wii Fit too, but I mostly just use it to monitor, not to actually exercise. I do the occasional exercise with Wii Fit, but I find that since you can't create a routine that runs through the exercises without pausing it doesn't give a very good workout. There are a few exercise games in the pipeline that look like they'll be way better. Hopefully they don't botch them, and they actually create a decent product.

^^^^ Hah Wii Fit proved to me that my core muscles suck. Damn plank excercise. I find that If you follow the suggested combination excercises, its a real good workout.. Like Spinal Twist and jack knife, cobra and plank, etc... my abs are still sore from 2 nights back

thats how my wii is now.

mario kart and wii fit are only reasons i have it still, tho one neighbor is obbsessed with wii tennis so we play that a bit.

its a system badddddlllllyyyyyy in need of some games.

the only people who can't find good games to play are the ones who refuse to look. All 3 systems have more than enough good games at this point.

If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

I don't disagree, I just hate the long pause between each one. It would be 1000 times better if you could link them together and just run through.

How long of a pause are you taking? I usually zip right into the next one, and am at the next in less than 30 seconds

It is probably the same amount of time you take, but it just annoys me. Especially if I don't know what I want to do next.

whatever.

at one point i owned probobly 35-40 wii games.  beat em or hated em, sold a bunch, still have 15 or so.  To me nothing has come out since mario kart.  I look believe me.  Game stores all around my work, I often wonder if theres some wii game I overlooked.  I am looking.

Name a game, I played or beat it.

Theres a bunch of wii games I do want comin out, but I been waitin for months for anything.

I think last game i bought and liked was powerpros, or endless ocean.

Yes there are good games on wii, but theyre so cheap and so short generally (aside from godfather, bully, etc) that you can go thru em in a month or two.

Or wait, maybe I refused to look.

Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

strategy, shooters, rpgs, etc

deeper shit, but still skill required.

im dying for fatal frame to drop.  I am eager about wii's future, but its been a slow 6-10 months for it now.  COD5 came out, but I'm prolly grabbin it for 360 cus of the online/graphics.

i might get dead rising, cus i thouht it was impossible on 360 and maybe i could do it on wii
