I'm voting for Killzone 2.

Halo Wars looks pretty bad from the videos I've seen. Granted, the videos were from the campaign, but everything about it other than the graphics just screams mediocre to me, especially compared to Dawn of War 2 and Starcraft 2. But it'll still be a million seller just on franchise strength alone.

Did you not know that if you say anything bad about the PS3 you are a hater? I know it is silly but that is how it is with some people.  It was like yesterday i bought a new car. I went to a car supermarket and planned on spending £20k max. They showed me a new Ford Focus and i had a go. The guy then asked if i wanted to buy it and i said nah i don't think its as good as the price tag suggests. The guy then said funny as a lot of people say that and he was the Ford dealer. But if you bring that normal thought into a games enviroment.....your be called a fanboy of a rival. As some guy once said "how many of the witches we burned were actually witches?!".

Back on topic! In all honesty i have no idea when Halo Wars is coming out, have heard nothing about it for ages, don't think they even mentioned it at last years E3? I thought it was meant to be out last year? Meaning their has been zero hype at all. Now that could be because it is an RTS game and normally they don't tend to do so well on consoles. But it has the Halo brand name so you would of thought it would be everywhere?

Where as KZ2 is the complete opposite. Been delayed a few times, was meant to come out with the PS3 if i recall? Has had a lot of hype following it from the media for a long time and has had a supposedly vast Sony budget spent on it. This is the 1st person shooter of the year, there are no Gears 3,RES3 etc..(that we know of anyway). The market shows in general people love 1st person shooters especially compared to RTS games. If Halo Wars beats Killzone 2 i think that will be a crushing blow to the Sony brand. And because of that i think KZ2 will sell more.

For me the fact it is a 1st person shooter vs a RTS game means there is no contest. History has show RTS games to do very poor sales wise on consoles. Just looking at the ones for consoles shows command and conquer 3 sold 500k in like a year, Red Alert barely made it over 150k etc.. even average shooters like Haze sold nearly 700k. I can't wait for KZ2 but if HW outsells it then that is embarasing.

I think Halo Wars will get off to a quicker start just based on the strength of the Halo name, but I don't think it will have terribly good legs and that Killzone 2 will pass it within 6 months of release.

halo wars, case its fricken halo. When the halo books came out, many of my friends ( who never read books) bought them just because it was about Halo. I people, will buy books, they'll buy a halo rts game. (btw the halo books suck ass)

Halo Wars, especially after how poorly R2 did.

I think the sales are going to be very close. I have huge expectations for Killzone 2 but at the same time I haven't seen a franchise that has gone from mediocore to a huge success in a long time. I mean the fact that Killzone 1 sold 1 million lifetime sales with a userbase of 100 million, my prediction sort of goes to Halo Wars. However, spin-offs of huge franchises aren't always successful.

It depends on how many get duped thinking this is a Halo FPS.

Halo Wars and Resident Evil 5 (X360) will both sell more than Killzone 2. I am assuming Killzone 2 will be selling at the current PS3 COD WAW pace.

Look, if Fable 2 and Crackdown can both sell great because of a Halo beta and Halo Armor, How many copies can a game that is a Halo game, and have the new HALO 3 Map pack included in the LE can possibly sell?

Also, Resident Evil is a much bigger franchise that KZ and will no doubt sell more just on the x360 version.

Halo Wars and RE5 are 3 plus millions sellers on x360 and I can see Killzone 2 doing an amazing 2.5 - 2.9 millions lifetime.

Either way I have both sytems so I really don't care as I am getting all the great games.

If u think Killzone 2 will sell like Waw then why do u think it will do an amazing 2.5 million lifetime if it sell like Waw then it will be over 4 million.
