Everytime I see Yoshitaka Amano's work I see all too clearly why recent FF games have fallen from grace.

Did you just land from an alien spacecraft to 2007 and saw Killzone 2 and came up with this conclusion?

I've had this sig for how long and you just now decide to comment on it? Give me a break. I'm so sure if you took away Resistance Fall of Man, Killzone 2, Haze, UT3, and fevered rumors of a Bioshock version for the PS3, people would still praise the PS3's game line up. Well... maybe you would... 

Why did you quote my comment and not even respond to it?

On topic: Would love to see FF7-9 ported onto the DS as well, unlikely, but one can always dream, FFX and beyond I could care less about, they can stay whatever they are now.

Is FFIV in NA the same FFIV that was in JPN or is it like FFIII which was FFVI in NA.This is were confusion arises about the FF series which is now fixed with them being rereleased in all regions with the same names.

Why Cecil look more feminine than Rosa? Hell SE, must you turn every FF character into a pretty boy kind? I am afraid to even think about what they will do to Locke.

Thats what Im having a huge problem with, ItsaMii.

Back in the day, FF characters weren't corny, feminine characters. Cecil friggin' bombed an entire city for a crystal, and saw lots and lots of people die. Should he look like a girl?

The Final Fantasy series fails because it makes men too girly. As much as I loved FFXII Vaan was FAR too feminine. What is it with these games noawadays?

Outside of that, looks interesting. I wonder how homosexual they're going to turn Locke, Edgar and the rest of the cast from FF6?

 FFIV was FFII in US.

 As soon as Final Fantasy VII hit, Square (now Square-Enix) stopped screwing with the numbers.  This includes (retroactive) remakes of the first six titles.  This is Final Fantasy IV, following the story of Cecil the Dark Knight, not Final Fantasy II, following the story of Firion... who happens to be a friend of Leon the Dark Knight.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought Cecil looked completely absurd in that picture.  If anything, these scans have made me want the game less.
