Every negative article posted here, be it anti-Sony, anti-Nintendo, or anti-MS, is posted by a non-owner of that console.  This is nothing new.   These negative threads seem to count for about half of new treads at VGC these days.   It is just another way of console bashing while "Just reporting the news".

The way that MS treats their customers is one of the big reasons that I do not have an XBOX 360.

If your like me and don't give any care to Hotmail, then yes it is.  Because I don't ever use it, EVER and I don't honestly give a care in the world to need to be there.  Why should I be pressured by a Company to use something I HAVE to use.

Well to be fair Microsoft's customer service is both their biggest fault this generation and the thing that makes people keep coming back to them after RROD's and such. Goes both ways I guess.

Lol, I would defiently own a 360 if it wernt for the RROD an Bad customer service. Its a good piece of kit, but I cant stand unreliable hardware.

yes, I haven't used my hotmail accounts in ages. Heck, I just registered a new passport account so I could download Windows 7. Do I ever plan on using it again? not unless I have to use it to download something like Beta 2 of Win 7 which I doubt I will since the Microsoft Update software should take care of the updates.

This really isn't something to completely do with customer service rather than a service itself. Having a service like LIVE tethered to any form of user email is stupid. This is why the PSN is a stronger service in the sense that you can register an account on your PC and have it universally accessible on the PS3, PSP, and online. This makes it so rather than being tethered to a single platform you can update your main data associated with the account while never having to worry about logging into a specific platform.
