I see the nintendo Wii Selling 200 Million units LTD!!!!

Trust me guys.....the Wii is VERY POPULAR...its seen as say a "washing machine, microwave" level of "necessity" now....families WANT it....they NEED it....its become a household appliance thanks to genius nintendo!

2009 -- 30 Million -- LTD Sales - 75 Million

2010 -- 40 Million -- LTD Sales -- 115 Million

2011 -- 30 Million -- LTD Sales -- 145 Million

2012 -- 25 Million -- LTD Sales -- 165 Million

2013 -- 15 Million -- LTD Sales -- 180 Million

2014 -- 10 Million -- LTD Sales -- 190 Million

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Yes if it continues to sell ilke it has been n can cater to hardcore n casual gamers aswell. It possible but they would need to rise wii production many more times. IMHO i think they can get close.

personsally? I think 150 mil is the cap here. But that alone would make it the best selling console ever... (unless the ds goes beyond that, which is very possible since the DSi should extend its life a bit)

I think 2018 is a little long but then again Nintendo plans on keeping this around for longer than they kept the NES around or until people get tired of it. (which could get pretty long)

Just imagine all those games.

You are too low for 09, and have it selling for way too long. 2018??

Wii sales increased 60% from 07 to 08 while being supply constrained in the US all year. You are predicting only a 15% growth in 09. That is way too low for 09.
