^^That stupid self-illuminated material/post glow effect on the grenade particle trail pisses me off every time I see it...it looks so out of place when the art direction/animation/physics go for uber realism, which are awesome by the way. Plus it's not enough of a counter to balance the devastating blast radius/low detonation time.

Low detonation time, shit. That thing looks as if it's impact detonation. It's not, I know, but that's just wrong. Is there something where he's holding the grenade before throwing it with the timer going? That would be more understandable and pretty neat.

You also have presume the 360 will have a HORRIBLE line up also (and the Wii doesn't improve).  In regards to a cheaper slimline PS3, any evidence, outside of a potential price drop, do you see of any chance over the way it is now?

Wow... dumb article, I want 3 minutes of my life back, I don't think jealousy has fueled any hostility more like ignorance if anything, but the same could be said about anti-Wii, Anti-360 hate as well, facts are facts the plain facts are:

Best reliability between it and 360
more functions
better variety of exclusive games
Costs more up front
Hardest and most expensive to develop for

360-
Bigger library then PS3 because it came out a year early
pay for any functions you want, IE wifi, online, hard drive, etc
better exclusive shooters
has just recently improved it's reliability to be on par with the other 2 so if you're buying used consoles be cautious

Wii-
Best sells
Easiest and cheapest to develop for
Biggest library
Free online, many functions
everything is included no need to buy anything other then controllers
A huge variety of exclusive games

Those are just a few, all three have things going for them like exclusive games, but I'd say Wii and PS3 has more MUST HAVE games for gamers then 360 cause like it or not Halo 3 is alright and people just got too hyped for it not a must have, Gears is probably 360s best must have and doesn't stack up vs Super Mario Galaxy, Little Big Planet, Super Smash bros, Metal Gear Solid 4, Metroid Prime 3, Zelda Twilight Princess, and Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm.

But all 3 have their good and bad points, if anything, PS3 get's it's hate from ignorant people not knowing what the fuck they're talking about, like most people I know, 360 and Wii get their hate from people that blow their problems out of proportion, like the Wii with shovelware and 360 with RRoD. Wii has had 3 great years of games with a must have game coming out each year, 360 has had their issues with reliability and fixed it and even took huge losses to fix peoples systems, and PS3 does a lot more then what people make it out to and well worth the money. So in short people should just lay off the bitching...

O rly?  Well the main exclusives 360 has are shooters, a few JRPGS, and those games that came out in it's first year, which were nothing to write home about to be honest... PS3 has shooters, platformers, a couple of fighters, some casual games, some good action games, etc.  So overall I'd say PS3 has a better variety for all purposes.  Doesn't say anything against 360, it's just saying 360 likes to gear it's games towards it's fans while Sony is trying to get games for all types to produce more buyers etc, it hasn't exactly worked out so far mostly due to public opinion and what people take for face value.

- Action (MGS4 - 94)
- Platformer (LBP - 95)

360 best exclusives per genre;

- Fighting (Dead or Alive 4 - 85)
- RPG (Mass Effect - 91)
- Racing (Forza Motorsport 2 - 90)
- Puzzle (Braid - 93)
- FPS (Halo - 94)
- TPS (Gears of War - 94)
- Flight Combat  (Ace Combat 6 - 80)
- Strategy (Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars 82)

The real 'fact' remains that it's immeasurable as it's highly subjective - but if you want to spout off the majority of critics dissprove your 'fact'.

Half of those are either ON PC or will be on PC lol and you didn't list things like valkyria chronicles, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm, GT5P, Resistance 2, etc... and I could debate Braid since it's a XBL instead of full game and just go into the list of PSN games but for purposes of my argument I was talking about full retail games.
