Forums - PC Discussion - 2009: PC's Best Year EVER (possibly better than all consoles combined)

I'll probably never buy another pc game, I got sick of the hour long installing, debugging, having games freeze and having to go on-line and find out the game is not compatible with my sound card/video card/ modem(steam, although they eventually fixed that a year later!). Just bought Uncharted 2, popped it in as was playing in about a minute, no hassles for me any more, thank you. And, a lot of games doesn't mean squat, this selection looks a lot like what you find in the discount software section at Target, mostly crap.

This list sucks, because the main games I want (NS2, Blizzard games) aren't even coming this year!

Seriously though, which of these are worth playing? I tend to prefer games with good music, if anyone can pluck out their favs, maybe I'll check em out.

The Path.

A friend had a go on it and couldn't play for more than 5 minutes as it really got to him. I suppose it isn't really a game, but it's quite wonderful all the same.

WOOOOOOOOW man, PC will kick some a$$ this holiday season.

PLAYSTATION®3 is the future.....NOW.......B_E_L_I_E_V_E

Wow, i was a Nintendo Fan Boy, and hated the PC Plataform, but this Steam service has opened my eyes and honestly, i m thinking in moving to PC Gaming instead of the traditional systems.

Here in Colombia most Wii/PS3 games costes U$60 to U$90 dollars and to see PC Games as low as $1.99 with good Metacritic stats (i only buy games that scores above the 80 points) is nice.

I also like to see my old Intel GMA X3100 being able to play those games ja ja ja ja, hope to get a nice PC Gaming Desktop in the future when all my debts are over.

Global Agenda is Feb of 2010 and the SS you put up is not really how the game looks like at all =P also you forgot to mention Torchlight which is neat little game as well in the RPG category that was built by the guys who used to work at Blizzard.
