I don't like sony for some time, and I have a PS1 and a PS2... weird?, here is my point:
- my PS1 broke in 3 years... the PS2 still works well (thanks god, I know that not all PS2 use to still read DVDs well after 5 years)
- all the PS2 controllers I know have a "buggy" R2 and L2 buttons... I hate that controller...
- they use the fucking same controller over the 3 generations with litle changes, I always preffered nintendo (and X360) controllers, and sony never really improve their controllers...
- if sony fails, nintendo consoles will have more games that I like (I hope some FF or gran turismo), so I will be able to play FF, GT and mario-based VG in the same console, for me it is great...
- since last gen I think the grafics are good, so I was hoping that someone have the idea to stop making consoles bigger and hotter just for a better grafics...

so it's why I want Nintendo to sell much more than sony, but I'll buy a new console only when one of then get a little more cheap (in Brasil consoles are very expensive), and only with loads of games...

I think, ( that means I-N M-Y O-P-I-N-I-O-N ) that everyone just wants something to hate. I happily baught my 360 back when the only good game it had ( T-O M-E ) was Oblivion. The best game out on 360 now ( T-O M-E ) is LOTR BFME II, and maybe Two worlds and Halo 3 in a couple of months. The 360 had jack on its first 9 months too. Absolutle jack, but everyone forgived though right? Because it was "new", it needed "time". No one dissed the 360 like they're doing PS3. Now that it came out, everyone just needs something to hate. And the price thing is true, i had to pull some tricks out of my sleeve to afford the PS3, but you know what? I prefer my PS3 over 360 anyday, it's free online, has an internet browser, better graphics if you have the right equipment. But whatever you know. I, personally, couldn't care less what anyone else thinks is good or bad. And just a guess... you probably shouldn't either.

i kinda of agree, except xbox has quite a few decent games out, and i i personally think it had better games in its first 9 months then ps3, but like you said opinions. Now i agree ps3 just needs time and it can be a great console. In a few years it does have the potental but for right now it just has crap.

BTW untill a year or so your going to have about equal graphics on ps3 and xbox
