Quoted out of context. He was saying that he could make a game like Halo (in reference to a game everyone wants), but he prefers to make games that people don't yet know they want.

Edit: On topic, I hate idiots like that who've only played video games since last gen and assume that Halo is the God of everything gaming.  I met someone who seriously thought Halo was the first FPS ever and the rest were posers (that was his argument for why Halo multiplayer was better than GoldenEye 007 multi).  I met yet another person who thought Samus stole the helmet idea from Master Chief.  What ever will we do against such genius?

Thanks for that link! That was hilarious and yet insightful. Do you think it is true? Perhaps Retro is really trying to decieve those poor Halo fans by making Metroid Prime 3 so similar to Halo 3. I use to like Retro but if they are going to be so sneaky I want nothing to do with them. I hope Bungie sues their pants-off!!

ohhhh god whats with this bull crap stuff that metroid is copying halo?! metroid has been around since the dawn of gaming.. in fact u could say halo copied metroid alien style... then again for some people ignorance is bliss..
