So Nintendo isn't very good at keeping promises.  Well they kept one.  They said we wouldn't have to wait years and years for the big first party titles on Wii. (US Dates)

I agree - why do all the news sites say Nintendo has ignored the hardcore gamer? This is the best time a hardcore Nintendo gamer has ever had!

Even I as a softcore gamer feel satisfied. And put Wii Play there. Doesnt get much more fun in any case, whether you are soft-/ or hardcore.

Here is my softcore wish though: New Kid Icarus

Then I might turn hardcore again.

I know they are worried about after these games, but there are plenty of more cash-in solid franchises.  Wave Race, Mother/Earthbound, Star Fox, Donkey Kong, Mario v. Donkey Kong (which I would love to see on Wii btw), Chibi Robo, Custom Robo, Advanced Wars, Puzzle League, Golden Sun (Camelot RPG?), Monolith Games, Retro moving on post Prime, Mario Sports, Elite Beat Agents Wii.

EDIT: Forgot Kid Icarus, FZero, Luigi's Mansion.

I really hated excite truck and I don't know why Pokemon is on this list? All and all SSBB FTW. Hopefully there is not a huge influence of motion control on Mario Kart. I would really enjoy it if the only used the motion controller for the weapons.

Pokemon BR may suck but it is a hardcore game. Young hardcore, but hardcore. I am sorry you hated Excite Truck, I think it is one of the most fun racing games ever, and I rank very well on GT HD Concept(PS3) to show you my usual tastes in racing games.

@androo: I only meant first party games, but that is still an impressive list.

I love how what one person considers hardcore another doesn't... that just goes to show you that the lines aren't as defined as some think. Like me with EBA or Androo with Boogie, Trauma Center 2 and RRR2.
