Forums - Microsoft Discussion - I've seen many RROD thread here recently. Add me.

Yea i've seen a good bit of RROD threads recently, and I have to add another. Well yea it happened to me last night.

Geez, I didn't really overdo the 360 and it still happened. It just had to wait for Christmas when I was supposed to get gears of war 2. BLAST IT.

I live in Trinidad so I don't know how difficult this will be to fix through the warranty with microsoft.

For such a blasted faulty product, it should be made to suffer geez. I want MS to suffer more because of this RROD problem.

DAMMIT MAN.

EDIT: date of manufacture: 31/10/2007

Should be an Official RROD thread imo.

  • 2010 MUST Haves: WKC, Heavy Rain, GoWIII, Fable III, Mass Effect 2, Bayonetta, Darksiders, FFXIII, Alan Wake, No More Heroes 2, Fragile Dreams: FRotM, Trinity: SoZ, BFBC2.
  • Older Need To Buys: Super Mario Bros. Wii, Mario Kart Wii, Deadspace, Demon's Souls, Uncharted 2.

There is definitely more to list that I want, but that's my main focus there.

They have good support normally, so you should be getting it back rather quickly.

Cheer up, at least you have a console to complain about ^^ Think of the millions of kids that won't get one :p

Damn man that's pretty bad. If my X360 RROD'ed I would have trouble to fix it also. Guess it really will anytime soon since I now prefer PS3.

There should be because no one really cares that anyone elses system RROD but people feel compelled to tell everyone.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

"every man burden is d heaviest"

I worked hard for my money and earned my 360 rightfully.

I just hope my location doesn't have an effect on the whole procedure.

Can you tell us when you purchased it and more importantly the chipset revision - Zephyr, Xenon, Falcon or Jasper?

You have every right to post this, but without this information it has the potential to give off an unintentional mis-representation of the quality and susceptibility of a console purchased today. People can read this unknowingly thinking that you bought it yesterday and can affect consumer confidence.

Which is what irks most people about these threads.

toastboy will not be happy at this!

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD

Well, I think anyone who buys an Xbox 360 should buy it with the mindset that it will break at some point. If I had a 360 I would expect it to break.
Its unfortunate but sure you get it back soon enough.

That sucks. And the hardship to replace it for free in countries such as Trinidad (in your case) and Israel (in my case) prevents LOTS of purchases.
