I hope they shipped enough of this game to Japan.
I wouldn`t be suprised, if it will pass 2 mln. in sales then. =)
So, this game a MUST HAVE for a FF fan, i wonder how many of them are in Japan, soon we will know. :)

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

PS3 may reach 5 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 50k.
PS2 2001 vs PS3 2008 sales numbers =) + New games released in Japan by 2009 that passed 100k so far

Im assuming some dont want to wait till the western release date and will import it.

Yup i sure am. Love the series. Dissidia is a game for the fans. Where else can you control Squall to kick Cloud and Sephiroth's rear ends.. haha. Was up till 3am this morning playing it.

@Oniichan- Awesome, question though... Does it have its own ya know... Online mode thingie? Via internet connection then Via its own online matching type system or? :P

I am going to end up getting a PSP and this game just so I can use Kefka and Gabranth to beat up Sephiroth and Cloud, over and oveer and over and over and over and over.

Btw...why do you hate Sephiroth? i can understand why you hate cloud, since i met Zack cloud seems like a little emo crybaby but Sephiroth? that dudes made of raw-unprossesed badass glory! O.o

@Seraphic - Well when you got to Online mode you then have to select a room (out of 16 different rooms) and then tries to connect to another PSP in the area. There doesnt appear to be the actual online mode like for instance Monster Hunter. But i cant be sure as i havent tested that 100%. As in Monster hunter if you go to the online mode it will log into the internet. This doesnt so makes me believe is only via PSP to PSP.

As for Sephiroth.. yeah he is bad as. His sword is damn long you can get them before they are even in range of you. Though Terra is quite the beast.

Apoligies for going off Chan, but...

@Kuutra, i'll be honest with you i never did get a chance to play VI, i first started @ VII but only because i was finally old enough to understand RPG's i was 7 to 8 years old @ the time of VII's coming to the PlayStation.

So its only normal i'd love the first Final Fantasy i'd ever play and the characters in them...

Its not that im biased towards Final Fantasy VII characters, infact i only like a few overall now an days, Sephiroth, Vincent, Tifa and that one chick and dude from Dirge of Cerberus.

But overall i dont like Sephiroth over kefka because of how popular Sephi is, but because he was the first bad guy i ever had to deal with in an RPG ever. pretty epic and heart-warming in my eyes as a gamer lol.

Overall though...I wouldnt mind giving VI a try to boarden my horizens... Were could i play it?

Side Note: Okay dont get me wrong here but kefka...looks like the "JOKER" of the Final Fantasy universe... Thats badass but i prefer my badguys as pretty boys NO im not you no... bent... its that or freaky lookin like nightmare from SoulCalibur. lol...
