Forums - Gaming Discussion - Confrmed: New metal gear is for IPOD TOUCH

Well, I have some friends that have done some serious iPhone/iTouch dev - and its been a disaster. It was great at the start, but the platform is completely saturated now - and its impossible for anything other than a major IP to launch and do well.

MGS should do fine, as Apple will actually put a lot of backing into it.

And remember the games play on both the touch and the phone. So we are looking a huge install base already!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

Its a rumor, and its misleading title..

It would be cool to have MGS on IPhone tho.

The iphone/ ipod touch is destroying the PSP and DS combined in sales, so who knows, maybe gaming will start to really rise on the ipod touch.

Wtf!? No...theyre not.

Its not confirmed yet either. Its still a rumor.

Is it staying Ipod exclusive? If so good. Stay that way.

This is crazy. This just cements what I always thought. The iphone is a serious game device.

If you think the Wii and DS have lots of shovelware, wait a year and take a look at the 99 cent iPhone store.

i'm very interested to see how this controls on touch... i'll read impressions before i even consider buying it though, I haven't bought any games on iphone that I've loved thus far
