Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Do you think the 360's Fallout 3 exclusive in Japan will help move consoles

Fallout 3 comes to the 360 tomorrow and it will be released on the other system on Jan 15. I think it will help move some consoles combined with holiday sales, so maybe 20,000 consoles and 45,000 copies of Fallout 3. However, its controversies may hinder sales with the game being censored and once having a nuclear bomb, so I'm not really sure what the Japanese reaction to the game will be.

Short answer no

Long answer HEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL NO

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

The Japanese simply aren't interested in Western RPG's.

Eh, no. It'll do less than Oblivion.

It'll sell in the 50k-75k range with any hardware boost attributable to Christmas and not the game as most interested in this game already got a 360.

And snuggle the girls be they short or tall,
Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,
To dance with Jak o' the Shadows."

I have an unrelated question, this 1 month exclusive Fallout 3 in Japan for the 360, do you think that is part of the deal with Bethesda for the exclusive DLC?

Fallout 3 for Japan is censored like hell....I think it is even unplayable now;...I mean the cut things out like the Atombomb in Megaton.

Hmm, a western RPG that is more a shooter than an RPG.

360 wins Japan this generation confirmed?

Fail.

Dont think so.

highly unlikely, but there's always hope.
