I'll get it soonish.. however sony really needs to step up their game with this thing. There is hardly any use outside of a few niche games (which is the reason i've yet to get it)
If they really want you to get the eyetoy make some more advanced software for it. Imagine "GO Workout!" a answer to wii fit that tracks your whole body and can determan a bunch of data from your body. Tailoring a workout designed for you (you input your bmi based on some tests.. or it could even have a balance board of it's own) Could also implement and use aerobics because of the camera's tracking movements. Telling you if you were doing it right or wrong.
Or how about games like endwar ? that's the first i've heard of awesome use of the pseye (i don't even know if it actually got implemented in the final game) but they were talking about how they might implement navigation by moving your hands (you'd be able to move around on the map) and that's the stuff we need. A game that already uses voice commands, allow you to use your body to navigate. That completely negates the use for a controller at all.. and such games should be designed for the pseye.
I have no doubt that if they took it to the next level, many more people would get it and start taking it serious.
