i don't get it, most of these games aren't even released yet, and all we've seen of some of these games is just a movie. How does this mean these games are quality?

What's the problem MontanaHatchet, you don't like the fact that I have no interest in those games? I'm just stating that even if some persons think Wii games are of bad quality, there are a lot of persons that doesn't think so and enjoy their Wii games.

My take....I don't care about any of the PS3 games enough to spend $600 or $500.  My entry point into a console is $299.  Quite a shame actually, since I've played every Final Fantasy since VII and because Ratchet and the Jak series were some of my favorite games last generation.  Everyone says that Nintendo is abandoning the hardcore gamer.  What about Sony abandoning the casually hardcore?

i said most of those games are released, but i just realized NONE of these games are released. Many of them coming out in 08 and beyond. Apparently we can judge the quality of games being released in 09.

the problem with this thread isn't what you posted, it's how you posted it. You dont' have a title like "Wii lacks quality games, really not a good console for gamers." Not only is it a misleading title because these games are not even out, many of them not even in playable form, but it is just flat out flamebait and this thread should be locked.

And what would be your response if it was dominated by Nintendo games? And to Psycho1984, it would have been fine if you had just left it at "people have different taste in games". But if you look back at your post, there was a bit more than that.

So an arbitrary list of games selected by a bunch of elitest hard-core gamer critics is now the definition of quality? If we are selecting that as the criteria I suggest we switch to the same definition for movies ... Unfortunately for everyone on this site that probably means that the only "quality" movies that exist are spanish ballet movies about how 2 lesbians and a gay man can only find happiness through wearing leg-warmers and chatting about fashion ...
