Mine broke in December, I am not sure why, but it froze after about 1 minute due to overheating (flashing orange light). I ended up sending it back in January, and in the UK I got a courier who came about 2 days after I called and swapped my 60GB launch model for a refurbished one. Unfortunately, that one had issues with the disc drive, so I had to swap that one around, and it was the same process
