Wii will win!

Wii wont win, its as simple as that. Nintendo never wins, playstation will win.

Now those are long posts. My guess is that Rol says Wii wins, and Soul says PS wins.

I say it will be like this:

1. Wii - ~180,000,000 consoles
2. DS - ~140,000,000
3. PSP -

180,000,000 for Wii....only if they start manufacturing them soon with the so far exclusive to Sony 'break down 1 week after warranty expires' chip.  :P

 Once they change to 65nm or even 45nm, things will get better in that department.

Those numbers will not hold true, especially the Wii beating the DS.

The Wii will be in third place because of the lack of compelling software after SMG launches (Today/last week for japan[only 250k first week]), and then SSBB in Q1 and Mario Kart in Q2 (provided it's not pushed back so Ninty can have something to launch next christmas). There are no new games on the horizon and all the sequels for the big 4 (Zelda, Mario, Kart, Brawl, to a lesser extent Metroid) are all far off. The 360 will have many games to play next year, as will the PS3... To name a few: Killzone 2, LBP, DMC4, DW6, GoW3, FFXIII, MGS4, GTA IV, etc. you get the point.

Yep cause everyone knows that Nes, Snes, Gameboy, Nintendo DS all failed miserably against their competition.

Wii will win by a landslide, with numbers close to that of PS2 by the end of this generation (which I define when 2 systems of the 3 stop production)

PS3 vs. 360 will end up like GC vs. Xbox, both fighting for 2nd place with PS3 barely beating out 360 due to Japan.

If you keep betting that PS3 will somehow rise from the ashes somehow, stop. Its not going to happen, and if it somehow does, it will still lose to Wii. You cant compare this gen to last because unlike last, the playstation is the STRONGEST console not the weakest, and is the most expensive instead of being in the middle. And to the argument that "x games will save our system" it wont happen because even Halo 3, probably the biggest game of this generation hype and sales wise, cannot push the 360 above the Wii for a prolonged time, no other game will be able to do it.
