STARCRAFT WII please!!!!!!!!! And make it online! Even a quick and dirty port. WOW can be on the PS3 and the 360. But I want Starcraft Wii. I think Starcraft graphics would work okay on the Wii.

Alvar said: You are just plain wrong about that... they do not have any ANNOUNCED games, but they have said that they are working on several other games, both new IPs and old ones.
http://blizzard.com/press/ Ok Thank you. And.. http://blizzard.com/inblizz/genfaq.shtml
Will you be making StarCraft II? We have not announced any current plans for StarCraft II. We are all very close to the worlds and characters we created in the original game and the expansion set and while we do intend to revisit that universe, we have no plans to do so at this time. Do you have any plans for more Expansions to StarCraft? No.
Damn. I was wrong. I'm sorry. EDIT: Alvar, are you saying blizzard is lying? Because if they are... then why would you trust anything they say pro new games?

Well, instead of reading their faq and announcements (unannounced products wouldnt show up here), try reading a few interviews. They have clearly said that they are working on other things, just that they don't have anything to announce just yet. And I never said they are working on anything starcraft-related, because well, I wouldnt know. It could very well be something Diablo-related, or why not go even further back to something Lost Vikings related. I don't feel the need to speculate into what it could be. I just did a quick google to see if I could find some interviews. http://pc.ign.com/articles/727/727892p1.html http://kotaku.com/gaming/blizzard/blizzard-working-on-three-unannounced-games-196646.php But well, until they announce them, they won't exist in any faq.

3 titles. I'm sure at least 1 is WoW expansion. Reading about the 360 stuff. I'm sure 1 is related to the 360. So most likely take RTS out of the picture. Likely a 2nd is WoW for 360. And then probibally Diablo 3. EDIT: 3 titles from blizzard. Average development time @ blizzard is around 2-3 years. Meaning Blizzard will release the most games they have ever released over the next 2 years. (in a 2year timeframe) I just want to say something about blizzard REALLY quick. They say they were working on dev for WoW 5 years before it came out. Let me say something really quick. The oldest concept art for WoW is 2001. Not the 2000 like it would have been had they been working on it in dev for 5 years full scale. (like they said) Blizzard has a really bad habit of lying. And scrapping Vapor ware projects. Without googling. What relation to flagship studios have to blizzard? Who is Bill Roper? What did Bill Roper do at blizzard? Who's creative mind created Diablo? Who's creative mind created StarCraft?

Here are some relevant links to the previous stuff. WarCraft - http://www.allgame.com/cg/agg.dll?p=agg&sql=1:940~T3 WarCraft2 - http://www.allgame.com/cg/agg.dll?p=agg&sql=1:939~T3 StarCraft - http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/starcraft/credits Diablo - http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/diablo/credits Diablo2 - http://www.mobygames.com/game/windows/diablo-ii/credits Flagshipstudios seem to be having webserver issues, so I cant find who all left blizzard for them. But The blizzard of old, is now Flagshipstudios. It's like Bungie. Bungie made some of the best games ever. And then Microsoft bought them. They actually dumbed down Halo, choked it's graphics engine down, and changed it from a MAC game to a X-Box game. Bungie no-longer makes innovative games. They used to make some of the most innovative stuff ever. Companies change. Blizzard has changed. The imporant part of blizzard... (at least that I always liked) Is now Flagshipstudios

The shell of a great game. Think of what happened to great games when EA bought the company. The game quality went to crap. Westwood. In 1998, Westwood was acquired by Electronic Arts (EA). In response to what was perceived as an unwillingness to maintain the Westwood brand and independence from EA, many long-time employees quit over the next few years. EDIT: So how could the game be the same game, with a totally new team?

Not sure I'm that interested in Hellgate: London to be honest... but yeah, it could be good, I'm a big blizzard fan (don't like wow though), so I will be trying their games out also. Theres pretty much three core people from the Blizzard North team (Diablo) that went to create flagship studios, the most prominent being Bill Roper and Shaefer. And even though I do have alot of knowledge and I do follow ex-blizzard employees as well as blizzard itself, I don't realy feel like taking the time to write an essay about it here :) On another note, I don't think a sequel to starcraft could be as good as the original, so I think they should leave an rts-sequel alone. They could always try the universe in another format though. And they wouldnt need the exact same development-team for that.

Exactly. That is basically my point. If you loved StarCraft. Chances are. Unless you 'change' what you like. You probibally wouldnt like SC2 as much as the original.
