He's right because Little Big Planet is the only original game this generation.

What about Portal and Co ? Mario Galaxy ? The wii in general ?

Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

@sardauk.
Nope, just LBP

Ok, I haven't played it yet so ... what is so inovative about it ?

I find the graphics and the style unique, you can also build your own level and share it on PSN... but what make it so special ?

To my understanding, this is "just" a very elaborated next-gen plateform game.

sardauk, do you remember excitebike and how fun that was.
now imagine it times 1000

I am going to buy LBP when it comes out here, but saying one game will move the industry forward seems a bit far reaching.

Certainly, if the game gets largely ignored by the buying public, it might get a few people in the "industry" scratching their heads As it stands right now, the game is expected to sell well and the industry will march forward at whatever pace it was going to anyway.

I am starting to babble. Maybe it's time to go to sleep. :)

It certainly is (I'm trying to influence my little cousin so that he buy it for XMAS and I can play mouahahah! )

But I feel is it more CREATIVE than INNOVATIVE.

That is the difference to me, a innovative game is a "genre creator" like a Mario, a Lemmings or a Simcity back in the past.

You know, stuffs that are susceptible to be copied in the futur.

true and i believe all those things you mentioned from before(wii, portal) fit that category. I was just kidding. However, I think the strength of LBP deserves to overshadow everything else lol.

Ok

It definitly has something in a way that it could even trick me to buy the PS3/LBP bundle...
