However, MP3 does play more like a FPS than previous Metroid games. The actual genre is more along the lines of First Person Adventure. Once I heard Bioshock could be considered the next Metroid game, I was a bit intrigued.

I agree the 360's most interesting exclusive games list is dominated by FPSs.

Although with (time/semi) exclusive games Unreal Tournament 3, Haze and Killzone 3 the PS3 has a strong FPS line-up as well, IMO most of the shown interesting PS3 exclusives are actually not FPS games (Home service is also interesting).

Lair, Heavenly Sword, Uncharted, LittleBigPlanet, Warhawk, Gran Turismo 5 prologue, Rachet and Clank Future, Metal Gear Solid 4, Singstar, Eye of Judgement, Folkslore, etc.

I agree with DonWii...who "won" E3 is subjective...personally,it went Sony>Nintendo>MS.

I believe that it's a matter of oppinion quite clearly. I did like Nintendo's presentation the most because Sony's was painful to watch. Sony did have the better game demonstrations that catered to the audience that it had much better than Nintendo did.

While he does tend to make bad predictions sometimes, he's got a good point regarding the show overall.

He's right that most people did not enjoy the show as much because of the size and that it lost a lot of its glamour with the new format. He's also right that there wasn't that much revealed at all and "there really wasn't a loser"

I like people who bash Pachter when what he says doesn't suit him but praise him when it does.

Pachter made stupid predictions in the past. I agree with ckmlb, we can't change our stance on him just because he changed his opinion. He remains anaccurate.

Right, but gaming journalists generally do not, and Pachter is much more one of them than he is mainstream (he's technically not a journalist at all, but if we have to put him in one category or another...). 

Again, would we be talking about this if Pachter had said that Sony had won? Probably not. He wants attention, and he got it.
