Whatever, thx for ur answer.

and yes, I think nintendo needs games, because the hype is not eternal.
Big games are coming on PS3/Xbox360 and there are still lot of PS2 owners that didnt have switched on next-gen. Wiimote and nintendo games are not sufficient when on the others side PES2008/GTA4 are coming even more if Xbox360/PS3 get a price drop.

Nintendo isn't stupid, they knew 3rd party developers would need some time to create new AAA projects for the Wii.

Thats why nintendo is putting their best franchises right now... because they are huge system sellers and then 3rd party developers will have even more of an incentive to develop for the wii.

Outsite GTA4 none of those games will outsell Wii fit, mario galaxy, mario kart or smash bros brawl.

Wii wins 4 to 1.

What is the point of this repeated highlighting and posting of the same comments?

Probalby has something to do with the fact that you among others completely ignore them and repeat the same argument.

What is there to comment on about that? You're saying there is no 3rd party support yet because they need more time. We got it, some people said E3 was when this support would come and it still hasn't. If you remember I mentioned TGS would probably have some Japanese support.

Still theoretical support isn't the same as actual support. Until the Wii gets more good 3rd party games saying that it will is moot.

In a debate you try to make your point. People said there is more third party Wii support than 360 and PS3 3rd party support so I obliged and showed them the list of recent 3rd party games announced for those consoles.

If you want to say that it's a point of view of course it is that is what a debate is, two or more people arguing their points of view.

When proved wrong in a debate one must admit it. The Wii 3rd party support (announced titles I mean) is stronger right now. Should people stablish that only big budget games, games you like or games that take longer to develop are valid, you would be right. One game is still one game no matter if it is Cho Aniki or FF VIII. Trying to twist the debate by adding some rules that only you think is right in the middle does not help it. If we made a bet about who was more popular "Spice Girl (insert here your favorite)" or Frank Sinatra, Sinatra would win. You could say that he is more popular among elders and that I am wrong, that old people know nothing about music. You would still be wrong.

I think we can all agree that the big DQ game this and the main series are on DS now not on Wii. Swords will not have close to the same impact as DQ IX.

I completely agree that it won't have close to the impact, but that doesn't stop it from being a big or major game.

Yup. Not that the same argument is right/wrong, just that you have 3500+ posts because you respond almost the same thing to 15 different people.

I think you missed my point a little bit, those games that you pointed out sold a lot. But lookig on how big the PS2 crowd is, they aren't the only game that sold the consols. People seems to miss this, it isn't one game that saves the day it is a vast libary. Mario 64 was one of the best selling games during that generation, but because of the lack of games totally one the N64 it couldn't compete with PS1. PS1 had in its early life a lot of crap, it was FF that gave the PS1 a boost but it was the insane amount of games on the PS1 that made its victory.

So according to me Nintendo alone could most possible keep a market for Wii somewhere around 40-60 millions on there own games and tons of second class (in like not known names) 3rd party support. Without any 3rd party support the sales will slow down.

I also think it is strange that people belives that those 30k japanese that buys Wii Sport every week will rather buy PES2008/GTA, for me it doesn't sound as the same crowd.

It's not. Look at the list of games and look at the 360/PS3 games. If you mean there are more 3rd party games coming on Wii exclusively then yes but that means good 3rd party support?

It shows more support when a company is putting out a few games that cost millions then a dozen games that cost no money to make. Which one shows more 3rd party support?

I'm trying to stay away from the quantity versus quality argument because apparently some people like these games more than the games that appear to me as better on the other console (non traditional versus traditional games).

I dont see how that is any different from saying that the PS3 sales will pick up. It is still theoretical, backed up with speculation.

I did the same when speaking about current and future 3rd party support.

If we just use the present as an example, then the Wii will sell well for the rest of the cycle, while the PS3 wont sell as well.

So you're saying I should post less? What can I do I'm one person debating like 8, I gotta respond to each person or then they will accuse me of ignoring their points...

Wii is lacking legit big games, this party casual mini game stuff is really annoying gamers.

1up really stuck it to the wiis lack of quality 3rd party support in their 3rd E3 podcast (1up yours i think)
