I been thinking I know sony has something up there sleeve.

I have a feeling that they will drop the price of the Ps3 in november to keep their console in focus during the Holiday season.  They know that the holidays are their chance to make up some ground on the 5mil lead by the 360. I just dont know how much more sony can lower their price since they already dont make much  on every console sold.

If Ps3 gets a price cut how much do you think it  will be?

50$ at most

$50 i think will happen in US end of November. Remember we are in economic turmoil and price cuts are needed to boost sales.

a 50$/€ drop seems the only option for a price drop this year, but I think Sony will rather bundle with up to 2 games and 2 controllers, then really dropping the price this year

next year we should see a 100$/€ drop for holiday season

A free game included with the console at the same retail price?

The had really niffty special last year to get a PS3 for free with tvs, so I think they will offer free PS3 if you buy 10 brd movies.

If MS's price drop is at least moderately successful (and I think it will be) they will probably drop the price by $50 around the end of October. If MS's drop only kicks the 360 up to like 75-80k/week, then they probably won't drop the price until at least next spring.
