I'm sure many of you know that I'm a wee bit tired of hack n' slash games, but I can still play them (I'm playing Resident Evil 4 right now), especially when they're multiplayer. Hellgate: London is an MMORPGFPS. Omgwtfbbq, you say? Yes, it's true! It's built by many of the developers of Diablo, who have since left Blizzard. It features the same open ended design, where you can enter "dungeons" and portions of the games content repeatedly, and every time you do the dungeon is rebuilt randomly.

I'm hoping this game can be a true test of skill in an MMO game, because (at the moment) I don't feel that most really tax skill level to a high degree. FPS tend to take more skill to multi-play than RPGs do, so it's a start.

It may be coming to the 360...

That's good news for 360 fans. Hope it does well. We've had several discussions about this already today: I do hope that MMOs start gaining traction in the console market soon.

Nor was Fable, Jade Empire, Halo (originally after MS was to secure it for Xbox only) etc.

It seems the major titles for Xbox seem to hit PC eventually, and usually with more content to boot. You know, the whole "Windows gaming" thing. XD

I meant the multi-player aspect sounds instanced, with congragation place... etc etc...

I am a PC gamer, and also have a NDS now, but without access to a Nintendo Wii until End of 2007.

I love PC games but grew out of it for the last few years because of ever increasing system requirement, the fucking installations, conflicting system component, bloodily expensive graphics Cards etc! Much better off with a console that wont make troubles for 5 years!

had they known it would take forever to make they would have named it differently, what I´m really looking froward to are Crysis and StarCraft 2, if FTPs and RTSs would all be playable with a mouse on console I might go with a 360 or a PS3 but I´m one of those old monkeys that can´t quit smoking,
