Insignia is a bestbuy product. Same with Dynex.
Only reason I know this is because my girlfriend used to work for Bestbuy.
Bestbuy products also have the best employee discounts too, 42" Insignia 1080p for $480. :)

Yeah you have to love the employee discount huh. Rocketfish is also another bestbuy owned product btw.
|
Yup. :) Employees pay 5% over what Bestbuy paid for the product. Sony discounts suck though, but Samsung makes up for it. :( I think there is no discount at all on computers or Apple products due to contracted prices.

Yeah you get most of the savings in accessories. Like a Rocketfish HDMI cables were marked at 80 dollars and we got them for 5.45. Hell i even got a DS3 controller for 35 dollars.
I worked there like 3 months ago and at least according to everyone in home theater insignia is made by LG. But I dont know who they have making dynex or rocketfish.

Accessories are Bestbuys weakness.
My friend would buy Geeksquad USB cables ($45) for around $2 each, he would grab like 10 of them and then have his girlfriend return them to another bestbuy without a receipt and just say they were the wrong cables, doing like 3-4 at a time. She would get gift cards for full value of the cables and after a couple of trips to multiple Bestbuys she would have over $450 in gift cards for $20.
If you have no reciept they can't see it was purchased with employee discount, also without receipt you can not recieve cash back, only store credit.
Speaking of which... I could go for a new HDTV... hmmm.... PS3/360/Wii games for a little over $2 each? Hmm....
I wonder if that still works.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
