Forums - Sales Discussion - 360sales up in japan need an explanation

im still wondering why the 360 sales in japan are higher than normal because final fantasy 13 wont be comming there

Around the Network

Perhaps the console is finally turning a corner in Japan. They have plenty of RPGs coming, FF13 is a long way off still.

American 360 fanboys are importing 360's from Japan because they want to help MS.

Who knows, it might be Tales of Vesperia, SO4, Infinity Undiscovery*, that's about it though.

  • 2010 MUST Haves: WKC, Heavy Rain, GoWIII, Fable III, Mass Effect 2, Bayonetta, Darksiders, FFXIII, Alan Wake, No More Heroes 2, Fragile Dreams: FRotM, Trinity: SoZ, BFBC2.
  • Older Need To Buys: Super Mario Bros. Wii, Mario Kart Wii, Deadspace, Demon's Souls, Uncharted 2.

There is definitely more to list that I want, but that's my main focus there.

FF13 for 360 is not coming in Japan

Around the Network

Most likely due to the fact that there are games like Tales and IU right around the corner as well as LR and SO4 not too far down the line either.

The Japanese have finally realized that it's a great source of heat and it looks much better than a portable heater. Comes in handy during those cold nights.

VGChartz♥♥♥♥♥FOREVER

Xbone... the new "N" word   Apparently I troll MS now | Evidence | Evidence

Tales of Vesperia is coming out in early August. Besides that, the Xbox brand has constantly been viewed as horridly unpopular in Japan. Since it now is the king RPG console (besides the DS), the Japanese might finally be starting to realize where the RPGs are. Because of this, we're seeing a gradual uptake in sales.
