Wii Fit Experiment, CBS News Report followup

July 21, 2008

This is a followup to the CBS newscast before I started the experiment.

Vaio - "Bury me at Milanello"      R.I.P AC Milan

In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird.
Now the world is weird  and people take Prozac  to make it normal.

If laughing is the best medicine and marijuana makes you laugh

Is marijuana the best medicine?

"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."

“If any creator has not played Mario, then they’re probably not a good creator. That’s something I can say with 100 percent confidence. Mario is, for game creators, the development bible.

There is no stopping Nintendo. They will take over the world.

You do not have the right to never be offended.

Can someone just tell me what the results are? I can't watch videos atm.

Summed up, someone lost 17 pounds in 41 days, it's good for physical therapy, and they sell out extremely fast.

CIHYFS?

All good things reported.

Guy lost 15 lbs in 41 days.

Wii Fit balancing used in some soccer player's recovery therapy - usually they use a wooden balance board, but Wii Fit is more interactive.

Also, Wii Fit hard to find, sold out mostly.

Numbers: Checker Players > Halo Players

Checkers Age and replayability > Halo Age and replayability

Therefore, Checkers > Halo

So, Checkers is a better game than Halo.

Why would you hate it?  Wii Fit is more of a "like it or don't care about it" kind of game than love it or hate it.  The only way I could see someone hating it is if they're a fanboy who loves some company more than they love games.

in my experience, using it just works, BUT you have to remain dedicated to using it, like any other weight loss/fitness product.

I own wiifit, i use it -not enough usually 3 times a week- but even without changing ANY eating habits(tonite is buttermilk cider chicken with a apple cream sauce)

i have gone from 194 down to 185 in 2 months. i am trying to use it more often but being married with twins 4 and a 7yr old finding time is hard at times.

Yeah dedication is definitely the key with any weight loss plan be it dieting, exercise, or both. The big thing Wii Fit does...or tries to do is make it fun to use it so that its easier to coax yourself into making it a routine and then keeping it a routine.
