300? In Poland we have outstanding offer of 37 Blu Ray movies right now... They will release 300 probably in December...

End of the world. Really. I can choose between stuff like Vertical Limit, Hitch, XXX and Ultraviolet etc. right now so I will get The Patriot as you confirmed top image quality in this movie. I'm going to buy also Apocalypto as soon as they will launch this title. I enjoyed it a lot.

I guess this anouncemnet from FUNimation will excite some people. They are going Blu-ray exclusive and the first offering will be from their Dragon Ball Z catalogue. unfortuanately it is not the series but two of the most popular films. They have said that they will go on to release thier most popular catalogue titles on Blu-ray tho.

Aside from my feelings about anime being hacked up in the west, animation is largely drawn for SD right now, so you really wouldn't get much, except the lines would be sharper. When animation is mostly drawn with greater detail, that really needs HD to show itself, then I will consider anime on blu-ray and HD-DVD to be worth my money. Until now, DVD is fine.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Every store I go they have hd dvd players on sale for $299.99 or even $199, they dont even advertise blu-ray they advertise hd dvd like it won the format war.
