Gballzak was a Nintendo flamebaiter (if I remember right). I never really read a ton of her posts, as she was always in the N forums, but was constantly deriding the other systems (again, if memory serves me).

The issue was that she posted...A lot, and it was never neutral. Add to the fact she was a girl, and had nude pics of herself on her profile, things began to get a little...Wierd, so they ended up nearly perma-banning her.

 

Why couldn't someone complain reasonably about a system they don't own either?

For example, Operation Darkness was a crushing disapointment. It's the first SRPG i've had no fun playing... ever... and I'm Mr. SRPG.

They just combined large battlfield with like... the worse camera i've ever seen in a game... and it just makes things confusing... and it's something that should of and could of been fixed with a little simple testing. I m ean how hard it is to go with a semi fixed camera where you rotate with a trigger?

Also, it would of helped if the mini-map would of rotated with you. I mean, why doesn't it?

Etc. People can have perfectly fine complaints without owning the system.

Yep.  Usually you only get one type of SRPG.  Generic Fantasy SRPG.  Then this and Valkrie came out at the same time... two SRPGS set in WW2.  Very different.

Aside from that i've only seen two non FPS SRPGs.  Rebelstar Tactical command, a SRPG on the GBA that was sci-fi.  Which had a battle system this game should of copied...

and... Future Tactics, (note not fallout).  A PS2/Xbox/GC SRPG that sucked at everything but it's combat interface.  Which looks to be the one Valkrie "copied."

Besides.  Nazi's working with zombies and vampires?  How can you go wrong?  Well... now I know... but still.

leetgeek made a thread asking which game will be the biggest at e3. Damrkia then posted about how sony must be worried because MGS4 failed... nothing happened to him... sigh....

haha. crazy. i see nothing out of line....a poster is having a problem with his 360 scratching discs...its a fault and a flaw i see nothing off topic about pointing out other flaws when discussing how his xbox 360 is "eating" games....this is a bit of a stretch.

At least its related....Poster A: "my 360 is doing X problem" Poster B: "yes that sucks, also it does this this is why i dont like it" .....that is NOT flame baiting thats pretty on topic.

Whats out of hand here is people being oversensitive and not contributing.....if aposters 360 is destroying games a real avenue and discussion to the topic at hand is the value of keeping the 360 or whether its worth it to the poster...thus discussion on other solutions such as a different companies system NOT eating games is a real variable and discussion to consider.

This is a stretch here and i think its stupid and youre power tripping. Again, thats not flaming im responding to the topic at hand....this is a joke, thats my opinion....please dont ban me. Thanks.

The issue is tha none of the posters ever bothered remaining on topic to discuss HIS 360, and decided it'd be a great avenue to expouse with the 360 eats discs, ect.

If someone's PS3 died, and there were 3-4 X360 fanboys saying "80gb PS3s fail way too often. The new Falcon Xbox 360s are far more reliable" - how would that really help the situation?

When I tried to start the vgc clan thread, the only bumps I got were alot of troll posts one person implied he wanted to wipe his ass with my idea.

What constitutes flaming/trolling? There's obvious trolling and then there's throwaway comments.

If someone says 'I bought a PS3 for the blu-ray, 360 HDDVD add-on is a failure' will they get banned? You need to elaborate or no one will know what's acceptable.
