I think that people get away with 360-trolling since very few 360-owners care about those comments. :) But say a negative thing about wii, there is 10 kids pressing report-button and shouting "omg ban! troll!". :)

Really it makes for pretty annoying reading on VGC, for myself anyway. I personally am put off by the lack of constructive 360 discussion i've been a member since aug '07 but prefer to lurk. 360 lurkers like me need to get into the mix rather than pussy out I suppose.

Props to legend and starcraft for bringing interesting 360 info though, as well as take a lot of heat.

This us versus them attitude is ridiculous. Thats why pc gaming forums are always better then console forums. The amount of platform fanboyism is limited.

That said, lol, the 360 is a little under-represented. I understand the tenative hatred towards MS from Sony and Nintendo fans. MS thought it was gonna come in and show N and Sony how to run a business, but got its butt handed too it. It's hard to be fair and balanced, as I well know. The 360 shouldn't get special treatment, but it should get equal treatment. It's a good console, despite its unfortunate heritage, and should be treated as such, despite personal feelings.

I just did report one person.  Montana's response was to enter the thread and say that I was annoying, but that the person in question still shouldn't make personal insults.

Thats becasue they don't care if people like you report people, you need people that have never done shit on the boards to report people or wii fans.  And atleast one of the mods has said before in a thread that they don't check out issues if only one person reports it.  So if you can get a group of people to report them then there is a better chance that action will happen in a thread.

As someone who's had Rrod TWICE, I can assure you I don't adore Microsoft's mistakes.  The one reason I forgive their many errors and abuses is the fantastic games library they have formulated for the Xbox 360.  They did not do the same for the Xbox (with the exceptions of Halo, Fable and Jade Empire) so I was unable to support that system (until eventually buying a used one for Fable).

They use the report function like all the other groups, its just that the mods pay more attention to complaints from wii fans.  And wii fans report people then 20 of them come in a thread and start posting bullshit of their own.

Fable was considered to be a very mediocre game on the PC. It comes to Original XBox over night its like the best console WRPG ever. BS. A crap game remains crap regardless what it is on.

BTW: Starcraft was your Original XBox mod chipped? I had a modded XBox with 50 games on the hard drive. I also had bootlegged games  burnt  on DVD's aswell.
