I don't know about other forums. I was speaking about this one. You can chalk it up to coincidence if you want, since that's probably all it is. It doesn't make anything I said any less true just because it's coincidence though.

I don't know what relevance your second paragraph has to what I wrote. Do you think I don't believe leo-j and the others are part of this site's community? All I said was there are a lot more active posters that lean their alliance towards Sony and Nintendo as opposed to Microsoft.

I'm one of those multi-platform fans.  I own a Wii and play it a fair bit (mostly Zelda, SMG and MKWii, not sure if I'll pick up SSBB).  I'll pick up a PS3 when it's cheaper and Versus hits (maybe sooner if GoW3 and Heavy Rain are awesome).

But as right now I play my Xbox 360 more than any other console, I'm labelled a fanboy and a hater and told that its ok for people to personally attack me as such.  Normally doesn't bother me too much, but its difficult for anyone to reasonably deny that its hard to be a 360-fan on this site.  And the difficulty has nothing to do with sales figures and everything to do with the community's attitude.

I think this is largely the truth.  Though the PS3 does have GTAIV and MGS4 now, and we still haven't seen a noticeable reduction in Sony fans spreading FUD and trolling in the Xbox 360 forums.  Generally I find Wii fans don't have as much interest in the HD console's, so they don't end up in the HD forums that often.  Still, you see a substantial amount of trolling from some of them that you would hope will reduce when the Wii starts to see some quality (large scale: I am aware it has niche titles like Z & W and NMH) third party support maybe later in the year.

Rock_On, you shouldn't call the fans of any console bitches. That's an immediate red flag. Consider yourself warned.

With that having been said, there have been plenty of unpleasant 360 fans on this site who make it their mission to almost lead a battle with Sony (and less often, Nintendo) fans. I'm sick of dealing with moderator reports about 360 fans all the time. If you guys hate the social structure here then leave. Seriously, you don't think Sony fans suffered during the beginning of 2007?

Not that all 360 fans are bad, many are great members of the site. But people like Legend11 and Starcraft are definitely not people with the right to complain.

I disagree with people's points all the time.  But I never throw around personal insults like SOME Sony fans on this site do.  It is commendable that you've pulled them up in this thread.  But for every time they are pulled up, there are five times they are not. THAT is why this thread is requesting more active modding in the Microsoft forums.

I have an idea. Instead of 360 fans trying to fight PS3 or Wii fans, why not report threads? Even if we see a problem, we may not do something about it because we don't find it offensive or we don't think other people find it offensive. If you report a thread or post, we know that someone is offended by it and we can deal with it appropriately. But really, not to call you out, but I've seen more reports about you than from you.

Usually I'll surf the hot topics so I'll see a couple of threads that could be considered Anti-360, but I don't really bother entering them because they're usually so boring. Then later some people bashed heads and I either have to warn someone, ban someone, or just lock the thread altogether.

Besides, the moderators are very lenient on this site. Like you said, there are a lot more 360 FUD threads on the site than FUD threads for the other consoles. We pretty much ignore these threads or allow them to be open. Unfortunately, what you end up with is that FUD threads for the 360 greatly outnumber the others, and it seems like moderators need to step in when in fact we would allow the same for the other consoles (not that I'm encouraging it).

Then report the fucking posts!  Sheesh.

If you're still not satisfied there's a staff link at the bottom of the page with plenty of people you can complain to. :p

I used to be pro ps3 back in the day but not anymore. I could careless which system "wins" second place lol or is the HD console king. Fact is people like "starcraft" and "leo-j" are kings of FUD though leo-j has gotten better in not defending the fuck you actions of Sony as much. starcraft on the other hand when MS screws there customers he simply smiles and asks if he can have another lol. He is the ulimate spin doctor like bahgdad bob who tried to say saddahm was actually winning when the U.S. invaded iraq lol..... If we are to ban people for this bullshi starcraft should be first.
