Sorry to burst your bubble but the last NPD data for US had Wii at 10.2 million and X360 at 10.27.Considering that not one of these consoles has reached 1 million on Canada the numbers are close to 1 million of overtracking for the 360 and nearing 1.5 million for the Wii.For the PS3 ,though ,sales are similar to NPD US+Canada if not somewhat inferior.

You also forget that data is a month old and excludes Canada.

I think the X360 is a little overtracked like 200-300k but I guess you are right about the Wii I saw that also myself it is a difference of 2 million and considering Canada have around 10% of the sales USA haves I am sure aswell that Wii is huge overtracked no comment about PS3 though..

Something doesn't make sense. If last week's VGC chart showed PS3 globally as 13.58 mil, then why after 80k+ from EU/O does it only jump to 13.62 mil? Isn't 40k missing or is my memory hazy? (Not the first time I've noticed the numbers not matching.)

ioi has overtracked probably some countries in Europe and adusted the numbers don't worry it is quite normal around here ^^''.

Um 10% of 10 mil is 1 mil. Then the wii probably sold about 500 or 600k so add that up in america and you get 11.80 sales for the wii in NA. SO that is about 300k off.

If you read Nintendo's own financial report, Nintendo has shipped 10.61 million Wii's to The Americas by March 31, 2008.

You can look it up for yourself on page 22.

If you add in sales for April, May and the first two weeks of June, VGC would seemingly be very close if not slightly under.

Hmm you are possible right =p. Oh well doesn't really matter that much for me..300 k Wii overtracked will not change a lot.

Users on this site are the kings of hyperbole. 80k per week is not awful... not even close. This time last year the PS3 was selling a crappy 26k per week...
